Roots Shop Repair Warranty Policy

At Roots Shop, your safety and peace of mind matter to us. Every repair we perform is backed by a clear and honest warranty so you always know what to expect.

  • Our diagnostic process is thorough and transparent.

    We guarantee:

    • If the same symptom reoccurs within 30 days, and no new issues are present, we will re-check our original findings at no charge.

    Not covered:

    • Issues caused by customer declining recommended repairs

    • Intermittent issues that did not present during testing

    • Additional labor needed to access components that were not part of the original concern

    • Oil Change Workmanship: 90 days or 3,000 miles

    • Coolant, Brake, Transmission, Differential, and other major fluid services:
      12 months / 12,000 miles against workmanship defects or contamination

  • Members with “part of the family” plan or higher receive enhanced coverage:

    • 36-Month / 36,000-Mile Warranty on most repairs

    • Free re-check diagnostics within 90 days

    • Priority scheduling for warranty issues

    Membership details must be active at the time of repair and at the time of claim.

  • Unless otherwise noted, all repairs performed by our shop come with a:

    24-Month / 24,000-Mile Parts & Labor Warranty

    This covers:

    • Defects in the parts we supply

    • Workmanship performed by our technicians

    If a covered part fails within the warranty period, we will replace or repair the part at no cost to you.

    Exceptions & Special Cases

    • Used or customer-supplied parts: No warranty on parts; labor is warrantied for 30 days.

    • Dealer-only or remanufactured components: Warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

    • Commercial/fleet vehicles: Eligible for a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty unless otherwise specified.

  • To keep things fair and clear, our warranty does not cover:

    • Failures caused by neglect, overheating, lack of maintenance, or abuse

    • Aftermarket modifications or tuning

    • Damage caused by unrelated systems

    • Repairs performed elsewhere after our work

    • Normal wear items (wipers, brake pads, bulbs, etc.) unless prematurely defective

  • If you believe you have a warranty concern, please contact us as soon as possible. Continuing to drive a vehicle with a developing problem may void warranty coverage.

    We’ll get you scheduled quickly and take care of the rest.
